Facilitating learning is where I find my most pure form of joy. While much of my teaching is in universities, I have facilitated and lead anti-oppression trainings since 2021 and various outdoor educational talks ranging in plant identification, tree ring sciences, and botanical swims since 2019 to over 800 folks.
Within the university system, I have instructed and co-instructed over 440 students. I aim to incorporate and design creative assignments that are focused on student interests and transgressive teaching methods (shoutout bell hooks) to engage in a wide range of disciplines and knowledge systems.
Below is a table of the classes I have taught thus far in post-secondary education, my role, year, and number of students:

Working for the Climate: Jobs Beyond Big Oil Speaker Series
The following speaker series was created in response to a Big Oil recruiter’s invitation at a previous institution I was working at. The goal was to show my undergraduate and fellow graduate students that there many applications of climate science and geoscience degrees outside of the worst corporations to have existed.

Climate FuSS?! Climate Futures Speaker Series
Climate FuSS?! or Climate Futures Speaker Series was a speaker series I organized in Spring 2024 with the intent on reclaiming “fussy” and complaining in academic institutions (shoutout Sarah Ahmed) as marginalized folks are often ostracized for doing while cis-hetero patriarchy maintains the status quo. The series had 13 speakers and over 600 attendees, here are some of the speakers’ lectures.

* Special note, Stacy has since passed away and I hope folks can enjoy her brilliance and make some funky art in her memory. She will continually be a beacon in which I aspire to create art and thankful for everything she gave to the world.
